La banda se formo en el año 1986, en Buffalo, Nueva York.
Los miembros fundadores, quienes aun permanecen en el conjunto, son: John Rzeznik y Robby Takac. El primero se encarga de la guitarra y el canto; el segundo, del bajo y tambien de darle voz a las canciones.
Los actuales miembros son los nombrados anteriormente, mas Mike Mailin, quien toca la bateria y reemplazo a George Tutuska.
Esta cancion es la principal de la pelicula City of Angels, del año 1998.
El tema se encuentra en su cd Dizzy up the Girl, de 1998.
